The Chicago Daily Herald included a blurb about Pink Friday in their column today, touting the availability in the Naperville and Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

TigerDirect.com, a retailer of consumer electronics and technology products, is changing Black Friday to “Pink Friday” to make the busiest shopping day of the holiday season a charitable day as well. Pink Friday runs through Dec. 31. TigerDirect expects to donate more than $250,000 from total sales and donations to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure for the fight against breast cancer. The company has stores in Naperville and Hoffman Estates.

Pink Friday got ‘digged’ by Grantilius on the ever popular Digg.com.

Its nice to see a big company doing some good for this world every once in a while. My aunt is a breast cancer survivor and Susan G Komen for the Cure and the fight against breast cancer is a great charity, so ill support anything thats going to raise them money.
